An Emirates flight carrying 300 people from Thiruvananthapuram, India, crash-landed at Dubai International Airport, with all 282 passengers and 18 crew members safely evacuated.
The incident occurred during landing, and while the cause remains under investigation, officials said wind shear and a reported landing gear issue are among the factors being examined.
One firefighter died while responding to the emergency, and 10 people were hospitalized.
The aircraft caught fire after landing, but cabin crew completed a rapid evacuation.

Aviation authorities, Emirates, Boeing, and international investigators are working together to determine what caused the accident.
