Beloved Star Wars Actor Michael Pennington Dies at 82
The entertainment world is mourning the loss of acclaimed British actor Michael Pennington, who has passed away at the age of 82.
Known to millions for his role as Imperial officer Moff Jerjerrod in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, Pennington leaves behind a remarkable legacy that spanned decades of theater, film, and television.
Born in Cambridge, England, on June 7, 1943, Pennington developed a passion for literature and performance at a young age. Over the years, he became one of Britain’s most respected Shakespearean actors, earning admiration for his intelligence, versatility, and commanding stage presence.
